訳文：
もし、多くの人々の中で、ある人が欲の強い人であるとしても、常に観世音菩薩を念じて恭敬するならば、その欲を離れることができます。 もし、怒りっぽい人であったとしても、常に観世音菩薩を念じて恭敬するならば、その怒りから離れることもできます。 もし、愚痴の多い人でも、常に観世音菩薩を念じて恭敬するならば、その痴を離れることができるのです。 無盡意さん、観世音菩薩には、このような、すごい威神力があって豊かな御利益を与えられるのです。このゆえに、人々は常にまさに心に念ずべきなのです。 ある女性があって、もし、男の子が欲しくて観世音菩薩を礼拝供養すれば、徳があり智慧の高い男の子が生まれるでしょう。 もし、女の子が欲しければ、端正 かつ 美形で、前世に徳を身に付けた、みんなに愛される女の子が生まれることでしょう。 |

もし、衆生 有りて淫欲多からんに、常に念じて観世音菩薩を恭敬
（くぎょう）
せば、便（すなは）
ち 欲を離るることを得ん。もし、瞋恚
（しんに）
多からんに、常に念じて観世音菩薩を恭敬せば、便ち 瞋（いか）
りを離るることを得ん。もし、愚癡多からんに、常に念じて観世音菩薩を恭敬せば、便ち 癡を離るることを得ん。 無盡意、観世音菩薩、かくの如き等の大威神力 有りて、
饒益
（にょうやく）
する所多し。この故、衆生、常にまさに心に念ずべし。
もし、女人 有りてもし、男
（おのこ）
を求めんと欲して、観世音菩薩を礼拝供養せば、便ち、福徳智慧の男を生まん。
もし、女
（めのこ）
を求めんと欲せば、便ち、端生有相
（たんじょううそう）
の女、宿（むか）
し徳本を殖えて衆人に愛敬（あいぎょう）
せらるを生まん。
白文：
若有衆生多於婬欲 常念恭敬 観世音菩薩 便得離欲
若多瞋恚 常念恭敬 観世音菩薩 便得離瞋
若多愚癡 常念恭敬 観世音菩薩 便得離癡
無盡意 観世音菩薩 有如是等 大威神力
多所饒益 是故衆生 常応心念 若有女人
設欲求男 礼拜供養 観世音菩薩
便生 福徳智慧之男
設欲求女
便生 端正有相之女 宿殖徳本 衆人愛敬
English:
Among many people,
has such great divine power to give us abundant benefits.
Therefore, people should always keep the name in mind. If a woman wants to have a baby boy,
she should adore Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara
then she will give birth to a virtuous and wise boy.
If a woman wants to have a baby girl,
she should adore Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara
then she will give birth to a beautiful and pure girl who has
acquired virtues in her previous life, and will be loved by all.
One who is a greedy person, if the one always remembers and
reverently honors Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara
the one can leave that greed.
One who is an angry person, if the one always remembers and
reverently honors Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara
the one can also leave that anger.
If one is a complainer, if the one constantly remembers and
reverently honors Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara
the one can also leave that complaint.
